Job Summary
An enthusiastic qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) to assist and support the accounts department, duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation and review of Financial Statements, including; property holding, lending, investment portfolios, insurance products and private equity
- Oversight of bookkeeping for client structures
- Oversight of providing financial statements to clients
- Dealing with client queries on financial statements
- Preparation and review of management accounts
- Prepare and/or review VAT returns for client structures
- Liaising with auditors on behalf of clients as required
- Assist with VAT queries as required
- Assisting with any UK/IOM statutory reporting as required
- Responsibility to manage other accounts staff as required
- Adhoc projects as required
- Additional duties as required by the Directors or Accounts Manager

Qualifications Required
- Preferably good A Levels or equivalent but are open to at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above
- Part or qualified ACA or ACCA or qualified by experience
Experience
- 5 years accounting experience
- Understanding of VAT including partial exemption and annual accounting
- Experience with UK self-assessment and corporation tax
- Experience with CCH Accounts and Quickbooks preferred but not essential
Training
External and internal training will be provided and encouraged to complete / supplement ACCA or ACA qualification
