Audit Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Audit Director to join the Board of the audit department. We require a candidate that can demonstrate excellence in people management skills, overseeing projects and leading business development activities. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Client advisory
• Lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of clients
• Building team capability
• Contribute to resource planning
• Review of audit files
• Review and ensure the development and Implementation of strategic and annual audit work plans and budget for the Audit team
• Oversee the evaluation of the effectiveness of the risk management and governance process and contribute to the Improvement of the risk management and governance process
• Ensure training, mentoring and development within the audit team and liaise with HR towards the development of a succession plan for the Audit department
• Liaising directly with clients
• Attract, develop and retain our most talented colleagues

Board of Directors

Qualifications Required:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent)

Experience:

• Audit Director experience or senior manager of 5+ years’ experience
• Proven excellent leadership performance and development of staff

Training:

External and internal training will be provided and encouraged
