Job Summary:

An enthusiastic part qualified accountant to provide assistance and support to the pensions department, duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Preparation of Pension Financial Statements, including; property holding, lending, investment portfolios, insurance products and private equity
  • Oversight of bookkeeping for pension structures
  • Oversight of providing financial statements to clients
  • Dealing with client queries on financials
  • Liaising with scheme auditors
  • Annual risk assessments
  • UK tax filings
  • Prepare scheme VAT returns
  • Potential future additional duties
  • Company bookkeeping
  • Liaising with company auditors
  • Prepare company VAT returns
  • Assisting with TRS reporting

Qualifications Required:

Preferably good A Levels or equivalent but are open to at least

5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above

Part or qualified ACA or ACCA or qualified by experience


  • 2 years pension or TCSP accounting experience
  • Understanding of VAT including partial exemption and annual accounting preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of TRS preferred but not essential
  • Experience with UK self-assessment and corporation tax


External and internal training will be provided and encouraged to complete ACCA or ACA qualification
