Atla Group Wellbeing Day

On Friday 14th October 2022 we held our first Wellbeing Day for the Atla Group team.

The event was held at Woodbourne House and was a chance for colleagues to meet up and listen to presentations from guest speakers, whilst enjoying breakfast and sipping a coffee.

The morning kicked off with Phil Quirk, Founder of Omnia Mind.

Phil is a leader and respected authority in the field of Human Performance Coaching and NLP, who gave an insightful talk about resilience and how this can help both personally and professionally. Our team have been encouraged to participate in the 28-day challenge set out by Phil, which we hope will give the team positive results. We’re really excited to start the challenge and see how changing 7 simple habits can impact us personally and professionally.

Later on in the morning, Mike Kewley provided us with various tips to help us with breathing techniques and how cold water therapy can have a positive impact on our wellbeing. The team took some time with Mike to use these breathing techniques to reach a stage of relaxation and mindfulness and we can definitely all agree that it worked!

It’s amazing how you can achieve a state of calm, so easily, when you listen to your surroundings and breathe.
