Modernisation of Isle of Man Insolvency Law

Have your say… now is the time to ensure that our insolvency and restructuring regime is positively updated, creating a modern and dynamic international and domestic regime.

The Isle of Man, a modern financial centre, presently runs its corporate insolvency regime based on 1931 statute and the 1934 winding up rules, referring back at times to the 1892 Bankruptcy Code.

Insolvency reform impacts us all. It is important, at this critical stage, to comment on and share your experiences, whether you have been a creditor, or have experienced distress yourself (in a personal or business capacity), or as a professional working in this field.
