Atla Group is a 21st-century strategic collaboration of financial service businesses which brings over 130 years of collective heritage to provide a suite of financial services and solutions to its valued clients.

Located in the Isle of Man, we have helped empower local and international clients and businesses to succeed by offering a professional, efficient service from a knowledgeable and experienced team, providing expertise-led solutions.

We are an owner managed group and our priority has always been to guide our clients through the management of their financial affairs, to nurture the talents and personal development of our colleagues and to provide our communities with a brighter future.

Our ethos is based on the belief that our clients’ needs are of the utmost importance, and the Atla Group team is committed to meeting them.

As a result, a large percentage of each of our businesses is from repeat customers and referrals.

TIMELINE

1954


Ron Browne started his own accountancy practice, R.B. Browne & Co Accountancy.

The Harding Thompson & Co partnership was established in Ramsey with Alvin Harding as a Founding Partner.


1974

1982


Maurice Singer & David Craine went into business as Browne Craine & Co, acquiring R.B. Browne & Co.

Peregrine Corporate Services Limited was established.


1986

1993


The addition of Howard ‘Lewis’ Parson changed the name to Harding Lewis & Co. Howard joined the firm having come out of his retirement in Montserrat where he had helped to draft its fiscal legislation.

Fedelta Pensions Limited was established and was the first pension scheme administrator to achieve registered status with the regulator.


1996

1997


Andrew Gerrard becomes the owner and Managing Director of Harding Lewis & Co.

In order to facilitate entry of future partners Harding Lewis & Co became a limited company and changed its name to Harding Lewis Limited.


2004

2008


Harding Lewis Limited moved their office from 4 Upper Church Street to 34 Athol Street as part of their expansion, where they would remain for 9 years.

Harding Lewis acquired Shannon Callister & Co, forming the Harding Lewis Ramsey branch and strengthening our presence in the North of the Island.


2010

2016


Harding Lewis made a commitment to online accounting software moving the majority of bookkeeping clients to Quickbooks.

Harding Lewis Limited moved their Douglas office from Athol Street to Hill Street, this was to allow for future growth and for the team to be in a modern fresh environment.


2017

2018


Peregrine Corporate Services Limited acquired Sabre Limited’s book of business, strengthening our South African client base.

Harding Lewis achieves Platinum advisor status for QuickBooks.


2019

2020


Browne Craine & Co merged with Harding Lewis Limited to strengthen both businesses’ local presence and client solutions. Starting a new era for the Group.

Peregrine Corporate Services Limited acquired Clearwater Fiduciaries Limited book of business to expand their position in the market.


2020

2021


Browne Craine Advisory Limited was established as a separate legal entity.

Fedelta Pensions Limited was acquired by the Group.


2021

As an indirect group of companies under common ownership we reorganised into a Group and rebranded as Atla Group.

R.H. Corkill & Co Limited was acquired in May.


2022

2023


The company united to redefine and establish new core values, fostering a shared vision and purpose for the future.

Atla Group underwent a significant restructure, introducing a Group framework with newly established CEO, COO, CTO and CCO roles to strengthen leadership and drive strategic growth.


2024

The new Dorchester House office was officially inaugurated by Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and presence.

Atla Group are proud to support: recyclecollect.im, a local initiative to improve recycling in the Isle of Man; Eyesea, a global movement to map pollution across the world; The Children’s Centre’s Race the Sun, a relay like no other and Granite Mann, the only off-road triathlon on the Island; Isle of Man Golf Union, a Pro/Am golf day to provide assistance to the squads with kit & training sessions!
