The evening of Friday 22nd October saw the launch party of the Atla Group, a 21st-century strategic collaboration between four of the Island’s leading accountancy and financial solutions firms. At the beginning of the year Browne Craine announced its merger with Harding Lewis which further enhanced the existing group which included, Peregrine Corporate Services Limited, a leading fiduciary provider, Browne Craine Audit and Advisory. More recently Fedelta Pensions Limited was brought into the group.
The merger and rebrand has broadened and deepened existing industry specialisations, enabling the Atla Group to offer more comprehensive business advice tailored to their clients.
Basil Bielich, group chairman of the Atla Group, said: ‘The creation of the Atla Group brand is indicative of a combined 130 years of heritage and ambition for the future of the four firms involved. Each has played a pivotal role as both accountant and financial solutions advisors to a wide range of clients, and we’re thrilled to see what the future holds for Atla Group and its client base. It’s an exciting time for all involved.’
Martin Hall, director within Atla Group, added: ‘The Atla Group is a strategic development that is a way to bring the unique services of each company under one banner, and it has provided a shared philosophy that has brought together teams from each respective firm under one united brand.
‘The formation of the Atla Group has enabled us to leverage five key service lines including accountancy and bookkeeping, audit and assurance, advisory, as well as fiduciary and retirement solutions, and has allowed us to offer a more comprehensive suite of services for our valued clients.’
The launch party was held at Woodbourne House and was attended by over 180 guests from the Island’s business community including David Ashford MBE MHK, the Minister for Treasury.
Attendees were given a short presentation on the Group’s reimagined brand and client-focused website, as well as a demonstration of how the new brand’s vision was brought to life and its commitment to the Isle of Man in terms of environmental, social, and corporate governance, as well as its plans for a significant recruitment drive.
Speaking of the launch party, Phil Butler, director at Atla Accountancy Services said: ‘Our launch event was a great success in sharing Atla’s future ambitions with the Isle of Man’s broader business community.
‘Although the merger is indicative of a much larger operation and service offering, the launch was the perfect occasion to demonstrate that our bespoke, personable service to each client – however big or small – still stands. Each firm within the Atla Group has provided a boutique offering built on a mutual respect of their relationships with clients, and it’s something that Atla Group intends to continue to nurture.’
