Phil joined Atla Group in 2008 and is FCCA qualified. With experience in audit, accounts and Isle of Man tax, he specialises in advising owner-managed businesses. Over the years, he has played an active role in shaping the Group’s business development, marketing and brand positioning, helping to strengthen its profile and build strong connections with clients and the local business community. He now concentrates on the strategic direction, growth and performance of the accountancy practice, with a particular focus on building capability, improving processes and ensuring the business continues to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Phil was appointed to the Board in 2021 and became Managing Director in 2025. He also leads the Group’s business brokerage division, working closely with local business owners and buyers to support smooth and successful succession planning.
