Trainee Accountant / Administrator

Job Summary:

An enthusiastic individual to join our Fiduciaries Department. As well as training towards an accountancy qualification, you will provide administration assistance and support to the Administration and Accounts Department.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assessing and processing year end accounting adjustments
  • Review and compilation of annual accounting records
  • Preparation of annual financial statements for client companies and trusts
  • IOM tax return preparation
  • UK corporation and trust tax return preparation
  • Assisting with accounting and tax department control functions
  • Client portfolio review and assessment for tax exposure
  • Preparing UK ATED returns

Qualifications Required:

Preferably good A Levels or equivalent but are open to at least

5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade B or above


  • Microsoft Office
  • Work experience
  • Public interaction


External and internal training will be provided, with the prospect to gain ACCA or ACA qualification
