Onboarding Manager

Job Summary

As a Manager, you will manage the running of the Onboarding Team. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the administration of the Onboarding Team and ensuring clients receive a high level of service
  • Overseeing all Onboarding Team tasks to ensure the company complies with its AML/CFT responsibilities and to understand the legal, client services and fiduciary needs and responsibilities of the business and to design, implement and monitor processes accordingly
  • Onboarding and closure of the client entities
  • Coordination of the team’s overall workflow and schedules
  • Preparation of monthly reporting to the Board
  • Providing support and building relationships with the directors, other managers and staff within the company
  • Liaising with the Compliance Team
  • Supervising and supporting the Onboarding Team;
  • Staff development and training
  • Assist with setting and monitoring financial output of team members;
  • Preparation and maintenance of departmental procedure manuals, policies and associated documentation
  • Ensuring knowledge of AML/CFT is, as far as reasonably practical, always up-to-date with recent developments and changes to legislation
  • Identify and work with directors to implement developments to the AML/CFT framework
  • Delivery of any change initiatives or projects impacting the business

Qualifications Required

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above
  • Professional qualifications in AML would be advantageous

Experience

  • Extensive experience in a financial services environment in a similar role, preferably in a TCSP
  • Management and supervision
  • Staff training
  • Microsoft Office
  • CCH, Laserfiche and ViewPoint would be an advantage but not essential
